Education
I completed my Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Ohio Northern University Raabe College of Pharmacy in Ada, OH in May 2024. While working on this degree, I completed a minor in chemistry.
Work History
From 2021 - 2024 I worked as a pharmacy intern at Summa Health Systems Barberton inpatient pharmacy. I also previously worked as an organic chemistry and biochemistry teaching assistant in lecture and lab portions of the class.
Professional Training
I am currently completing my PGY1 Pharmacy General Hospital Residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Estimated completion date is June 2025.
Research
My PGY1 residency research project will assess the need for cytomegalovirus prophylaxis in a specific pediatric patient group following bone marrow transplant. While completing my PharmD I worked with multiple professors within the lab to create and test titanium complexes that have shown effectiveness of inhibiting growth of MCF7 breast cancer cells. I have also completed research in documenting cinnamons effect on MCF7 breast cancer cells, as well as creating titanium complexes that have the ability to polymerize lactide.
Licenses and Certifications
I am a licensed pharmacist in the state of Maryland. I also currently I hold licenses and/or certifications for APhA’s Immunization course, ACLS, OSHA Blood Borne Pathogens, HIPAA, CPR and BLS, as well as sterile IV room compounding.
Organizations and Committees
I am currently a member of the Society of Health-System Pharmacists, American Pharmacists Association, American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, and Habitat for Humanity. I am on the Pharmacy Grand Round Committee and the Preceptor Committee at Johns Hopkins Hospital. I have held leadership positions for Ohio Northerns chapter of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists.
Community Service
I have participated in hundreds of hours of community service for both Habitat for Humanity, and for my local church, St. Matthews Parish. I have also dedicated time to help serve my community in Ada through on and off campus events.
