    During my psychiatry APPE I got the opportunity to compose and present a document on substance induced psychosis to the entire pharmacy department at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.   • Journal Club

    During my psychiatry APPE I got the opportunity to compose and present a journal club. I presented a journal club on an article titled Treating Insulin Resistance With Metformin as a Strategy to Improve Clinical Outcomes in Treatment-Resistant Bipolar Depression (the TRIO-BD Study): A Randomized, Quadruple-Masked, Placebo-Controlled Clinical Trial.

  • Clozapine Topic Discussion

    During my psychiatry APPE I got the opportunity to compose and present a topic discussion on Clozapine. I presented this topic discussion to the psychiatric pharmacists and PGY1 and PGY2 students.

  • SOAP Note

    During all of my APPEs I composed three SOAP notes based on real patient cases I experienced during the month I spent there. This SOAP Note I wrote during my Thoracic Oncology rotation on a patient with Stage IVA Metastatic NSCLC Adenocarcinoma.

  • Ifosfamide Nursing Inservice

    During my Thoracic Oncology APPE I got the opportunity to compose and present a nursing in-service on Ifosfamide and Mesna. This presentation was for a new patient presenting to the infusion clinic, dsue to the fact that Ifosfamide had not been used at their infusion center for a few years.

  • Anxiety Patient Education

    During my psychiatry APPE I got the opportunity to compose and present a patient education topic on anxiety. I spent an hour education the patients in an in-patient psychiatry unit on anxiety and answered any questions they had.
